LUNA

LUNA is a software program which allows faculty, students and staff of the Claremont Colleges to manage, access and present digital images. LUNA images are accompanied by cataloging data which allows for in-depth searches of the collections. LUNA includes a presentation software, or the images can be used in PowerPoint presentations. The LUNA site supported by Pomona College includes many collections of images, The Pomona Visual Resources Collection in LUNA is one of those collections and offers nearly 13,000 high quality and well-documented images of art and architecture, from the Prehistoric period to the 21st century. To access LUNA, go to http://luna.pomona.edu. If you are on the 7C network, you do not need an account to view the images. If you would like to save groups of images for use, you need to self-register an account; go to the LUNA page, and click on “Register” in the upper right side.

For further information on levels of access and restrictions, go to http://sax.pomona.edu/luna/.
