Paulette Barros (’11), an art history major, and Seana McNamara (’11), a studio art major, were the recipients of the 2010 Rembrandt Junior Art Prize, a cash award of $1,500 that allows art history and studio majors to pursue a research or creative art project in the summer between their junior and senior years.  Ms. Barros and Ms. McNamara will discuss their projects–an examination of Italian Baroque images of Africans for the former and an exploration of the art of the Prado in Madrid, in particular Bosch’s “Garden of Earthly Delights” for the latter–at the annual meeting of the Rembrandt Club on October 7, at 1:30 pm in Lyman Auditorium.  The public is welcome.
