A public lecture by artist  Hock E Aye Vi Edgar Heap of Birds will take place Wednesday, February 9 at 3:00 pm at Pitzer College’s Broad Performance Space.  Edgar Heap of Birds has exhibited his innovative artworks internationally for over three decades. His artworks advocate for indigenous rights and explore issues of place, public memory, and the environment. He is Professor of Native American Studies at the University of Oklahoma, and a member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma.
